Participation is optional and has automation risk
Ubiquity Prospector is independent from LinkedIn and is not LinkedIn-approved. LinkedIn may restrict or close an account for third-party browser extensions or automated activity. Read the prohibited software and account restriction guidance. Do not opt in unless you accept this risk and can comply with all applicable terms and law. Any controlled beta access is limited testing; it is not public publication, general availability, or approval by Ubiquity, LinkedIn, a store, or a regulator. A qualified legal review is required before a European launch.
What the extension does
The extension uses one dedicated Sales Navigator window to apply and read back a typed search, capture assigned People or Account records, and submit bounded parsed JSON and client metadata. Keep Sales Navigator selected in its own visible window while earning. Do not minimize the window or hide the tab. You can use other windows normally. All LinkedIn navigation, DOM parsing, extraction, retries, and local backups stay client-side in the extension.
No LinkedIn credentials, cookies, authenticated HTML, MHTML, raw page snapshot, or browser session reaches Prospector. Bounded parsed records and client metadata cross using a Prospector application bearer token; that bearer is application authentication, not a LinkedIn credential. Prospector stores only the permitted protected match for a bounded LinkedIn identity observation, display name, timestamps, parsed records, checkpoints, and reward receipts. Do not paste credentials, cookies, one-time codes, or recovery codes into the extension or app.
Task visibility and safety stops
Nodes can be Off, Ready, Working, Stopping after current page, Paused, or Offline. The active task shows progress, expected reward, and stop-after-page. It does not show the buyer's identity or raw audience prompt. Stop and let the extension pause on login loss, a warning, challenge, CAPTCHA, identity check, selector failure, incompatible build, or unsafe browser state. Do not bypass a safety stop or use anti-detection behaviour. The extension must not disturb unrelated tabs.
Credits and rewards
The contributor onboarding/node flow issues the one-time 100-credit signup grant lazily when an eligible contributor node is first started or subsequently read; the grant does not expire. During the network bootstrapping stage, an opted-in node may receive streamed credits only while it is demonstrably online: 10 credits per hour in 6-minute ticks, capped at 200 credits per UTC day. Streamed credits do not expire. Accepted work may earn platform-funded contributor credits, which also do not expire. Signup, streamed, and earned credits are internal, non-cash, non-transferable, non-resalable, and non-redeemable. Eligibility is surface-specific and no particular product action or order is promised.
- 1 credit may be awarded for an accepted People lead.
- 1 credit may be awarded for each successfully captured unique employment Account.
- 1 credit may be awarded for an accepted standalone Account.
- A captain may receive 1 credit for an accepted server-issued search verification request. A valid page may receive 1 page-discovery credit only when it introduces a candidate that is ultimately delivered.
- A duplicate across search segments may qualify for a contributor reward, while the buyer is never charged twice for the canonical record.
- When the buyer and contributor are the same app account, accepted work can count but every contributor reward is zero. Rewards are conditional on accepted, valid work; no page, sweep, or capture guarantees a reward.
Data and retention
The Privacy Notice explains platform-wide Example results, raw Assistant prompts and answers, the exact server-observed IP address, security fingerprints, observational cluster identifiers, their purposes, and the 13-month raw sensitive telemetry retention period. Accounting, audit, reward, order, payment, and legal records may be retained as needed. Do not submit private information that is not needed for the bounded task or that you do not have a lawful basis to share.
